What you’ll be doing
Technology Operations supports the platforms, tools, and environments that help our engineering teams build and deliver solutions at scale. As an Application/Software Developer Co-op, you'll support the development platform used by teams across CIBC to build and maintain their applications in platforms such as Microsoft Azure. You'll contribute to the integration of cloud‑based components, support shared frameworks and common services, and assist with development activities across application programming interfaces (APIs), extract, transform, load (ETL) processes, and Databricks initiatives. You'll also help with platform support activities, including service requests, access management, documentation, and day‑to‑day troubleshooting. This is a hands‑on opportunity to build your technical skills, learn from experienced team members, and contribute to solutions that support our broader technology environment. At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You'll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you'll spend 1‑3 days per week on‑site, while other days will be remote.
