ABOUT THE ROLE

As APAC Talent Acquisition Manager, you will lead and shape our Talent Acquisition strategy across APAC, with a primary focus on Vietnam and the wider Southeast Asian talent market.Your mission is simple: put the right talent in the right roles at the right time.

This is a leadership role in a fast-paced, international corporate environment where success is measured by results, quality of hire and the ability to meet the evolving talent needs of the business.

You will own the end-to-end recruitment strategy, strengthen our sourcing and assessment practices, and ensure an excellent candidate experience. You will lead and develop the TA team while remaining personally engaged and hands-on in critical and senior-level recruitment.

Deep knowledge of the Vietnam technology talent market is particularly important, alongside a strong understanding of talent trends and sourcing channels across Southeast Asia.

Working closely with business leaders across APAC, you will play an important role in building GFT as a world-class digital banking and technology organisation.

This is a hybrid role, with an expectation of working on-site a minimum of three days per week. We believe regular in-person collaboration is important for building relationships, maintaining a strong culture and staying closely connected to our people and business.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and execute the APAC Talent Acquisition strategy, aligned with business priorities, workforce plans and growth objectives.
• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing TA team, creating clear accountability for delivery and results.
• Remain hands-on with critical, specialist and senior-level recruitment, ensuring close engagement with the market and key candidates.
• Own and continuously improve the end-to-end recruitment process, from workforce demand and sourcing through assessment, offer and onboarding.
• Partner closely with business leaders and hiring managers to deliver high-quality talent within required timelines.
• Build strong and sustainable talent pipelines, particularly across technology, digital, engineering and senior leadership positions.
• Apply deep knowledge of the Vietnam technology talent pool and wider Southeast Asian markets to advise the business on talent availability, compensation, competitor activity and emerging skills.
• Strengthen recruitment practices, including sourcing, interviewing, candidate assessment, selection and candidate experience.
• Use recruitment data, market intelligence and performance metrics to drive better hiring decisions and continuously improve TA performance.
• Partner with Employer Branding to strengthen GFT's market presence and talent attraction strategy.
• Manage recruitment agencies and external partners, ensuring strong performance, commercial value and appropriate use of external resources.
• Own TA budgets, reporting, workforce recruitment planning and key performance indicators.
• Drive continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to simplify, automate and improve recruitment processes and outcomes.
• Act as a visible ambassador for GFT in the technology talent market.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 8+ years of Talent Acquisition/recruitment experience, including experience leading a TA team or recruitment function.
• Deep, current knowledge of the Vietnam technology talent market, including established networks, sourcing channels, talent availability and market trends.
• Good knowledge of the wider Southeast Asian talent landscape, ideally with experience recruiting across multiple APAC markets.
• Strong experience recruiting within IT, technology, digital, consulting or outsourcing environments.
• Experience within banking or financial services would be highly advantageous, although it is not essential for an otherwise strong candidate.
• Demonstrable experience recruiting senior, specialist and hard-to-find technology talent.
• A strategic mindset combined with a genuinely hands-on approach - comfortable setting direction, leading a team and personally engaging in senior-level recruitment.
• A results-driven mindset, with a strong focus on quality of hire, speed, delivery and measurable outcomes.
• Experience operating successfully within a structured corporate and international environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence and credibility to influence senior hiring managers and business leaders.
• Comfortable using recruitment data, ATS platforms, sourcing tools and market intelligence to support decisions.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Pragmatic, collaborative and commercially minded, with a genuine passion for people and talent.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with a minimum of three days per week on-site, actively contributing to GFT's culture and collaboration.
