Own the Android client experience for an AI-native productivity company: build production Kotlin apps where AI chat, vision, and voice features are core, design UX for streaming/partial AI responses, and optimize performance and reliability. Requires 3+ years of Android/Kotlin experience; role is Canada-based.
About the Company
There are over 5 billion users relying on basic applications today, email, notes, tasks, calendar, that aren't AI-native. This company's mission is to build proactive applications for anyone in the world who isn't used to complex prompting, bringing intelligence to conversations, errands, organizing, and workflows with minimal prompting.
The product focuses on high reliability for long-running workflows, persistent context, and real-world task completion, with a strong belief that well-built products can greatly reduce hallucinations. The broader objective: help organize anyone's life so people can spend time on what's valuable and meaningful.
Role
As an Android Software Engineer, you'll own the Android client experience, how AI feels, behaves, and performs on mobile devices. This is not a thin client role. You'll build a production Android application where AI interactions are core to the product, and performance, reliability, and clarity matter.
