Job Overview:

As a Marketplace Analyst, you will be the operational engine driving our Amazon and third-party marketplace channels. Reporting directly to the Marketplace Manager, you will focus on maintaining catalog health, optimizing listings, and ensuring seamless day-to-day channel performance.

This is a highly analytical, execution-focused role ideal for an early-career professional eager to develop deep subject matter expertise in ecommerce operations. You will serve as the first line of defense against marketplace compliance issues and act as the crucial link between our sales data and inventory planning teams. (Note: This role is focused purely on platform execution and analytics; it does not involve assortment selection, vendor negotiation, advertising management, or direct customer service.)

Responsibilities:

• Catalog Health & Compliance: Proactively monitor and resolve Amazon listing errors, stranded inventory, product health warnings, and complex compliance requests to ensure zero downtime for top-selling SKUs.
• Sales & Performance Monitoring: Conduct daily SKU-level analysis to track sales velocity, win-rate on the Buy Box, and overall channel health metrics against established goals.
• Forecasting & Inventory Coordination: Partner closely with inventory planners to communicate demand trends, track inbound shipments, and prevent stockouts on key items.
• Promotion Execution: Build, execute, and monitor the performance of promotions, deals, and coupons.
• Data Reporting: Utilize advanced Excel functions to extract marketplace data, identify emerging trends, and provide actionable feedback to leadership.

Qualifications:

We are looking for a systems-thinker who loves diving into data to solve puzzles. You thrive in a fast-paced environment where marketplace rules change frequently, and you possess the autonomy and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities at once.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, Analytics, or a related field.
• Analytical Rigor: Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs/XLOOKUPs, nested formulas) with a proven ability to analyze large datasets and spot anomalies.
• Systems Thinking: An inherent ability to understand how complex, end-to-end e-commerce processes and software systems interact.
• Execution & Detail: Exceptional attention to detail. You are driven by accuracy and possess the project management skills to follow complex tasks through to completion.
• Adaptability: A self-starter with a natural curiosity to test, learn, and iterate based on shifting marketplace dynamics.

Leslie's provides a robust benefits package, including:

• Comprehensive medical, pharmacy, dental, & vision plan options.
• Health savings account (with enrollment in the high deductible health plan option).
• Health & dependent care flexible spending accounts.
• Company-paid basic life and AD&D insurance.
• Voluntary supplemental life insurance.
• Company-paid short-term disability and voluntary long-term disability insurance.
• Pre-tax and Roth 401(k) with company match.
• Paid vacation, sick, and bereavement leave.
• Paid holidays, including a floating personal day.
• Employee assistance and wellness programs.
• Earned Wage access is available, allowing early access to a portion of your earned wages before payday.
• Product discounts at Leslie’s Retail stores.

Leslie’s recognizes a critical component to our continued success is our people. Leslie’s is proud to have a culture of inclusion that seeks to celebrate and embrace the different backgrounds and perspectives that help drive our success and support team members in developing and growing with us. We aim to create a workplace where all team members feel welcomed and valued and inspire each other every day.
