London-based AI Solutions Engineer (£50,000-£70,000) who translates business challenges into practical AI solutions: building APIs, scripts, automated workflows, agents and integrations with tools like Claude and Claude Code, and supporting an AI adoption programme at a company operating in power networks and digital infrastructure.
Salary: £50,000 - 70,000 per year
Requirements:- Programming and scripting experience, such as Python and API development
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Hands-on experience with AI or large language model platforms, prompt engineering, and agentic tools
- Ability to communicate effectively with non-technical users and work with minimal supervision
- Experience with software development lifecycles, agile delivery, or the construction, utilities, or infrastructure sectors is advantageous
- A degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience, is desirable
- Translate business challenges into practical AI solutions
- Work directly with end users to develop AI use cases, automated workflows, agents, and integrations using technologies including Claude, Claude Code, and Cowork
