AI Product Engineer

Build demos showcasing agentic commerce, automate workflows, stand up MCP servers, and ship production features across Lightning Labs products. Work autonomously across projects and teams, using AI-native tools and strong product judgment.

Responsibilities

• Build demos and developer experiences showcasing Lightning payments, L402-gated APIs, Taproot Assets, and agentic workflows.
• Automate and augment internal workflows with tools, scripts, MCP servers, and integrations.
• Ship production features across Terminal Web, LND, and new products.
• Work autonomously to identify and execute high-impact projects.
• Context switch across projects and teams while maintaining quality.

Requirements

• Build and ship production-quality software with a portfolio, GitHub profile, or projects demonstrating this.
• Use AI-native development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or similar daily.
• Work comfortably across TypeScript, React, Go, Python, and other technologies as needed.
• Have strong product instincts and translate between technical and non-technical contexts.
• Be familiar with agentic AI patterns, tool use, MCP, multi-step workflows, and LLM integration.
• Be self-directed with a bias toward action and a track record of delivery.
