Builds the hands-on technical side of responsible AI: small-scale models and pipelines, plus tools that test AI systems for safety, bias, and robustness. Also creates demos for briefings, works with researchers to ground policy technically, and explains engineering to non-technical audiences.
Role Summary: You'll build the hands-on technical work — prototypes, demos, and testing tools — that show what responsible AI looks like in practice, not just on paper.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and document small-scale models and pipelines
- Set up tools to test AI systems for safety, bias, and robustness
- Create technical demos for roundtables, briefings, and capability sessions
- Work with the research team to keep policy technically grounded
- Explain engineering clearly to non-technical audiences
- Keep clean code, version control, and documentation
