AI/ML engineer – AI Fintech

Crediflow AI is building the autonomous AI infrastructure that powers modern commercial lending. Our platform automates 90% of the manual credit assessment and monitoring process - turning days and weeks of underwriting into minutes, from document ingestion to risk assessment and ongoing monitoring. Our founding team combines deep AI and financial expertise from Deutsche Bank, Ford Credit Bank, and DF Capital Bank, and a track record of delivering scalable systems at global scale.

We work with fintech lenders, private credit funds, commercial banks, and alternative finance providers across the UK, US, Australia and Europe. We’re redefining how lenders underwrite businesses, and how money moves in the business economy. Engineering is core to building the intelligent infrastructure that powers it, solving complex problems with elegant systems and delivering breakthrough performance at scale.

Your Role

We’re hiring an AI/ML Engineer to architect and scale our core intelligence engine powering financial document understanding, risk analysis, anomaly detection, and autonomous underwriting workflows. You will work across LLMs, financial modelling, ML pipelines, data normalization, explainability, and real-time monitoring systems, solving problems that no-one has solved before.

🚀 What You'll build

• Build and optimize models for financial document understanding, extraction & transformation
• Build AI Agents for finance and Business Lending
• Develop ML systems for forecasting, fraud detection
• Architect continuous underwriting and covenant monitoring pipelines
• Implement explainable AI and traceable reasoning
• Work with engineering to productionize models into the core platform
• Partner with Product & Credit experts to design intelligent automation workflows
• Evaluate and fine-tune LLMs
• Scale model performance, reliability & latency via AWS

📌 What We Are Looking For

• +3 years applied experience in AI/ML engineering
• Experience with LLMs, embeddings, RAG pipelines, Agent frameworks
• Deep understanding of model lifecycle and evaluation
• Strong software engineering foundation (Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow)
• Ability to architect systems from scratch and ship fast in early-stage environment
• Knowledge of financial analysis or enterprise data is a plus (not required)
• Ownership mindset: build, iterate, measure, improve
