We are building AI-enhanced digital products with a clear purpose: to help people all over the world see and hear better. At our Digital Excellence Hub in Málaga, you’ll join a senior, international engineering team focused on shipping high-quality software faster and smarter using the latest AI development tools.
Within Customer Intelligence, we build and operate the backbone that powers customer-centric experiences across the entire Fielmann ecosystem. Our products make customer and order information securely available across online shops, stores and customer service. They support millions of customers while respecting consent, access-control and data-protection requirements.
One of our key initiatives is building a scalable customer data infrastructure that connects customer and order data across our core operational systems.
Your mission will be to build and maintain robust backend services that:
- Handle high-volume of operational data
- Ensure reliable, secure, and legal-compliant data flows
- Unify customer and order data across various sales channels
- Enable real-time and batch data handling
- Serve as the foundation for customer authentication, customer identity resolution and customer identity stitching.
You will be building enterprise-grade services that become mission-critical for how we understand and serve our customers.
This is your opportunity to shape the future of AI enhanced software engineering in a real-world, purpose-driven environment.
What you’ll do
You will help evolve our existing Customer Data Management products while building the platform that will manage Fielmann’s customer data in the future.
- Operate and continuously improve our existing services for customer authentication, consent, communication preferences, customer-data integration and identity linking
- Design and build services that capture customer data reliably from digital, retail and operational systems
- Create and maintain a unified golden customer record by resolving identities, linking records, removing duplicates and reconciling conflicting information
- Define clear rules for data ownership, source priority, record merging, history and lifecycle management
- Build secure, stable and well-documented APIs and events through which other applications, platforms and authorized colleagues can access customer data
- Shape the migration from today’s identity-linking landscape towards the future golden-record platform
- Ensure that customer data is processed in accordance with consent, privacy, security and retention requirements
- Build mechanisms for data-quality monitoring, reconciliation, auditability and recovery so that consumers can trust the data
- Take responsibility for the complete service lifecycle from architecture and implementation to deployment, observability and production support
- Work closely with product, architecture, data, security and consuming teams to translate customer-data requirements into pragmatic technical solutions
- Use AI-assisted engineering tools thoughtfully to accelerate implementation, testing, documentation and code review without compromising quality
