Capgemini Engineering is hiring an AI Engineer in Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal (hybrid) to design, build, and deploy scalable data and AI solutions — including data pipelines, production ML models, and cloud-native architectures (preferably GCP) — largely for initiatives in the telecommunications sector.

We are looking for an experienced AI Engineer to join our growing AI Engineering team. This role is ideal for professionals with a background in Data Science, Machine Learning Engineering or Data Engineering, who are passionate about building and scaling AI-driven solutions in cloud environments.
You will work on the design, development, and deployment of advanced data and AI solutions, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to transform business requirements into scalable and production-ready systems. Experience within the Telecommunications sector is highly valued, as many of our initiatives focus on large-scale data processing, customer analytics, network intelligence, and AI-powered automation.
