AI Design Enginner

Compensation: ₹75,000 – ₹1.5L • No equity

About Intempt Intempt is an agentic growth platform — one system collapsing what used to take eight tools (CDP, CRM, marketing automation, sales engagement, analytics, experimentation). A unified customer profile with a fleet of AI agents that run the work instead of generating dashboards about it. Blu plus eight specialist assistants shipped across web, desktop, and mobile.

The role We’re hiring a Design Engineer to own the surface that decides whether people screenshot our product or close the tab.

You sketch in code. You hold the whole interaction in your head — idle, hover, focus, active, loading, empty, error, and the keyboard shortcut nobody asked for that everyone uses once they find it. Not a frontend engineer with a Dribbble account. Not a product designer who picked up React. The role Linear, Vercel wrote the playbook for. We ship fast. We want to ship beautiful. That’s the gap you close.

What you’ll work on • The Blu chat widget — the most-seen surface in our product, present on every page. Make collapsed → expanded feel physical, not animated.

•	Marketing site relaunch — 15 product pages, manifesto pages, full creative latitude on intempt.com.

•	Notetaker across three window states. It should feel like Apple shipped it.

•	The shared design system across five surfaces — web, desktop, mobile, iOS SDK, Android SDK. One token change propagates correctly or you fix it until it does.

•	Image Studio canvas — drag, snap, align, undo/redo, conditional rule builder. Best-in-class fidelity in a browser.

You’re probably this person if

•	You’ve shipped side projects other people bookmark

•	You have correct opinions on easing curves, type scales, focus rings, and z-index strategy

•	You’ve pushed Framer Motion past its limits

•	You can ship a marketing page top-to-bottom — copy, layout, components, animation, performance, SEO — without asking who owns what

•	You read the Vercel and Linear posts on design engineering and quietly thought “yeah, that’s me”

•	You write CSS like prose

Stack React, Next.js, shadcn, Tailwind, Radix on web. Bun and Tauri on desktop. Expo with NativeWind and react-native-reusables on mobile. Ink for terminal. Claude powering Blu.

Compensation/logistics Remote. Heavy overlap with GMT+2 required.

Competitive salaries and real ownership of the surface you ship.
