Agora - Senior Full Stack Engineer at silver – Argentina | Jobyssey

ABOUT AGORA

At Agora our mission is to transform how money moves. We believe stablecoins will underpin a new financial fabric, one that is faster, more global, and more efficient than today's siloed systems. That is why we are building AUSD and the Agora stack, a full service platform that makes issuing, managing, and integrating stablecoins seamless, whether you're a developer, fintech, or institution. With AUSD, stablecoins become programmable, composable, and ubiquitous by default.

We believe digital dollars should be a public good: trusted, accessible, and built for real-world utility. Our mission is to drive adoption through customizable, user-friendly on-ramps that make stable, dollar-based value available onchain.

We're backed by world-class investors including Paradigm and Dragonfly, and we're growing a team to reimagine how value moves online.

We're intentional about who we bring on. If you're passionate about stablecoins and want to help create more open, intuitive ways for people to engage with money, let's talk.

ABOUT THE TEAM

We bring the discipline of high-performance finance teams and the creativity of a fast-moving crypto-native startup. We're a small, mission-driven group of builders who move fast, sweat the details, and hold a high bar for excellence, in product, code, and culture.

You'll be joining a tight-knit team that values clear thinking, extreme ownership, and high-velocity decision making. We operate in short feedback loops, support one another without ego, and are deeply motivated by the opportunity to build foundational infrastructure for the future of money.

JOB SUMMARY

We're seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to take end-to-end ownership of features and products across the stack, from Agora interfaces to reliable backend infrastructure. You'll work closely with product, design, operations, finance, and our external partners and customers to gather requirements, prototype quickly, and ship with confidence. You have strong product taste, a bias toward MVP thinking, and you're as comfortable reasoning about user experience as you are about backend systems, API designs or database schemas. Our stack includes TypeScript, React, REST APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, Prometheus, and Grafana. This is a role where you’ll own it end to end, from the first prototype through launch, iteration, and beyond.

We value real-time collaboration and prefer candidates located close to Eastern Time, while welcoming exceptional engineers across Pacific Time through ET+2. Regardless of where you are located, your working hours will need to have a majority overlap with ET business hours.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of fullstack development experience, with 3+ years in TypeScript/Node.js and a modern frontend framework (React preferred)
Fluency with relational databases and SQL
Proven ability to ship production systems, frontend and backend, with high uptime and minimal maintenance burden
Strong product instincts and an eye for good design; you can work from a Figma file but you'll also push back when something doesn't feel right
Comfortable working directly with external partners and customers on requirements gathering, integration, and iterative feature development
MVP mindset: you know how to scope a milestone, ship it, learn from it, and iterate fast
Strong commitment to clean code principles and automated testing
Deep understanding of API design, versioning, documentation, and modern authentication patterns
Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating across product, design, and operations in remote, asynchronous environments

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in fast-paced, high-growth startup environments where you've worn many hats
Track record of prototyping and launching customer-facing products, not just internal tools
Familiarity with performance profiling, latency reduction, and service-level adherence
Background in designing and operating event-driven architectures
Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, Prometheus, and Grafana
Passion for building tools, internal or external, that meaningfully improve how people work with money
Hands-on experience building in crypto, including working with onchain libraries and services, and integrating with blockchain infrastructure
Experience integrating or interacting with blockchain node software (e.g., Geth, Solana validators)

Agora operates a centralized USD-pegged stablecoin platform with robust compliance, security, and governance. We are equally committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplace.
