Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled, patient-focused Medical Aesthetician to join our growing dermatology practice. The Medical Aesthetician will provide advanced skincare treatments, educate patients on medical-grade skincare products, support cosmetic procedures, and help drive cosmetic service and retail product revenue. This role is ideal for a highly motivated professional who is passionate about skin health, aesthetic treatments, patient education, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:

• Schedule patient appointments for cosmetic services and consultations
• Be available for patient consultation at request of physician
• Perform cosmetic procedures as directed by physician
• Room patients, thoroughly explain treatment, expected results and potential risks, obtain patient signature on appropriate consents
• Educate patients about our services and skincare products
• Assist patients in skincare products selection
• Follow up with patients after treatment
• Document patient and treatment information
• Maintain work area in a clean and orderly condition
• Wash and sterilize supplies, instruments and equipment daily
• Set up, clean and disinfect aesthetician room daily
• Order cosmetic supplies and products through approved vendors
• Responsible for maintaining inventory and ordering of products and samples
• Responsible for maintaining equipment
• Other duties as assigned.

Product Education & Sales

• Recommend medical-grade skincare products based on patient needs and treatment goals.
• Educate patients regarding skincare regimens, treatment expectations, and maintenance plans.
• Promote retail skincare products and cosmetic service packages.
• Follow up with patients to encourage treatment adherence and ongoing skincare maintenance.
• Meet or exceed established retail sales and treatment revenue goals.

Patient Experience

• Build strong patient relationships through exceptional service and follow-up care.
• Address patient concerns professionally and compassionately.
• Ensure a positive, welcoming environment that promotes patient satisfaction and retention.

Clinic Operations

• Prepare treatment rooms and maintain cleanliness according to infection control standards.
• Sterilize equipment and maintain treatment supplies.
• Monitor inventory and communicate product and supply needs.
• Support clinic marketing initiatives, events, and promotional campaigns when needed.
