Advanced Test Automation Engineer (Web & Android Embedded Applications) (m/f/d)

About the Role

We are looking for Test Automation Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will help ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of both modern web applications and Android-based applications running on embedded hardware platforms.

You will work closely with software developers, system architects, product owners, and QA engineers to design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions throughout the software development lifecycle.

Our team works on Pre-Recorded Announcement Machine (PRAM) installed in the aircraft cabin. It is used by cabin crew to playback music during passenger boarding & un-boarding, and to play pre-recorded announcements such as flight safety messages during taxi. PRAM interacts with a web interface for content management.

As a member of the Services & Connectivity organization and Cabin Management Systems division, you will play a key role in planning and executing aerospace development projects. You will work as part of a cross-functional team with responsibility for delivering projects from concept and requirements definition through development, qualification, certification, manufacturing readiness, and product entry into service.

Honeywell Aerospace products and services are found on aircraft across commercial aviation, defense and space — from engines and cockpit electronics to cabin systems, mechanical components and connectivity solutions. Our technology helps operators fly more safely, reduce fuel consumption, improve on-time performance and deliver a better experience for the people on board.

As aviation continues to evolve, we're also developing systems to support autonomous and supersonic platforms, bringing the same focus on safety and efficiency to the next era of flight. With approximately 36,000 employees worldwide and net sales of $17.4B in 2025, Honeywell Aerospace is one of the largest dedicated aerospace companies in the world. Control Systems develops the thermal and motion control systems that help aircraft take off, land safely and protect the people on board. With more than 10 million passengers per day flying on aircraft equipped with our products and more than 75% of commercial flights beginning with our engine start systems, Control Systems reaches farther across the aviation industry than most people realize.

Please note that due to export restrictions, we will only be able to take into consideration applicants with an EU or US citizenship.
