Human Resources Help Desk (HRHD) is a ticket management tool within Oracle HCM that allows employees, managers, and HR teams to submit, track, and resolve HR-related inquiries and requests. It streamlines communication, improves response times, and maintains documentation of HR cases from submission through resolution. Employees use HR Help Desk when they need assistance with an HR-related matter.
When to use HR Help Desk:
- Questions about benefits, payroll, timekeeping, or leave programs
- Employment verification or personnel record requests
- Updates to personal or employment information
- Employee relations concerns or workplace issues
- Requests requiring HR review, research, or follow-up
- Tracking the status of an existing HR inquiry
Qualifications:
- Education:
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum of three years of administrative work experience required; HR administrative experience preferred.
- Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of administrative practices, procedures, and office support functions.
- Must pass the Company’s EEI Support and Administrative Selection System (SASS) test, if required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suites including: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel;
- Experience with SAP, Coupa, Oracle HCM, Intelex, FileNet, or related systems preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication, customer service, organization, prioritization, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines and producing accurate work.
- Demonstrated discretion, sound judgment, and ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
- Ability to work overtime as required for outage and storm restoration, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
