Accountant / Investment Accountant

• Position: Accountant / Investment Accountant
• Working Days: Monday to Friday
• Working Hours: 9.00AM to 6.00PM
• Salary: Basic up to $5,500 + Performance Bonus
• Benefits: 14 Days Annual Leave
• Duration: 6 Months Contract Convertible to Permanent

• Our client is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage full-set accounting, investment transactions and financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain full sets of accounts and prepare monthly financial statements.
• Record and reconcile investment trades, capital calls, distributions and cash movements.
• Manage fund, private equity and investment-related accounting records.
• Reconcile general ledgers, bank statements, balance sheets and supporting schedules.
• Maintain investment schedules and portfolio summaries.
• Prepare monthly management reports for shareholders.
• Review annual filing and tax return documents.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers and company secretaries.
• Support bank account opening and related documentation.
• Coordinate with overseas colleagues on accounting matters.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• CPA, ACCA or equivalent qualification is preferred.
• Experience handling the full accounting cycle and financial statements.
• Fund accounting, public equities or private equity experience is advantageous.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and PivotTables.
• Meticulous, organised and able to work independently.
• Able to meet month-end closing deadlines.
