🚨 We’re Not Hiring a Finance Account Executive

We’re hiring a Financial Storyteller. A Market Maker. A Builder.

💬 The Short Version

Finance teams keep companies moving.
Yet too much of their day is still spent navigating fragmented banking systems, spreadsheets, manual reporting, and disconnected financial data.

At Embat, we’re building something different: the financial operating system for the modern era.

Founded in Spain in 2021, Embat has evolved from a SaaS platform into a financial infrastructure company, combining treasury management, AI, and banking infrastructure to transform how mid-market and enterprise companies interact with their money.

With EmbatOne, we’re building our own banking infrastructure to bridge the gap between traditional banking and seamless digital operations. And with Tellme, our proprietary AI financial assistant, CFOs and treasury teams can query complex financial data in natural language and get real-time insights — turning manual reporting into an archaic memory.

We’re now 150+ people across Spain, the UK and DACH, handling high-volume payment flows for multinational companies.

In May 2026, we raised a €30M Series B led by Cathay Innovation, with continued backing from Creandum, Samaipata, 4Founders Capital and VentureFriends.

Now, we’re looking for an Account Executive to help accelerate our growth in Spain.

🎯 Your Mission

This role isn’t about opening a market from scratch.

It’s about building on the trust, recognition and momentum we’ve already created in Spain — and taking it to the next level.

You’ll help CFOs, Finance Directors and treasury teams understand what’s possible when their financial operations stop being fragmented.

You’ll tell the Embat story to Spain’s mid-market and enterprise finance leaders: from the first “never heard of you” to “how did we ever manage without you?”

We’ll give you the product, the technology, the brand and the ambition.

You bring the curiosity, commercial instinct and drive to turn that into growth.

⚡ How You’ll Do It

• Turn curiosity into conversations: every email, event, call and introduction is an opportunity.

• Own end-to-end SaaS sales cycles, from prospecting and discovery to demo, negotiation and close. Typical sales cycles range from 2–4 months.

• Use AI, data and modern sales tooling to prospect smarter, personalise your approach and move faster.

• Translate complex financial workflows into a clear commercial story and tangible business impact.

• Build relationships with CFOs, Finance Directors, Treasurers and other senior finance stakeholders.

• Work closely with Product, Implementation and Treasury Success to make sure the value promised during the sales process becomes reality for the customer.

• Bring customer and market insights back to the team and help shape Embat’s go-to-market strategy in Spain.

🧩 Who You Are

We’re not checking boxes.
We’re looking for signal.

• You’ve run mid-market or enterprise SaaS sales cycles end-to-end.

• You understand how finance teams operate — and ideally have experience selling into Finance, Treasury or CFO organisations.

• You love the moment a sceptical CFO starts seeing a better way of working.

• You’re comfortable operating in ambiguity and figuring things out as you go.

• You’re confident engaging with senior decision-makers and building credibility quickly.

• You’re a native Spanish speaker and fluent in English.

• You’re familiar with sales prospecting tools and CRMs (HubSpot preferred).

• You use AI tools because you care about working smarter, not just harder.

• You’re ambitious without arrogance.

• You move fast, think clearly and collaborate naturally.

• You take ownership. If something needs doing, you don’t wait for someone else to tell you.

🧭 The Embat Way

We treat people like we like to be treated.

No egos. No unnecessary politics. Just people working together to build something meaningful.

We stay curious.

We keep learning, challenging ourselves and raising the bar — professionally and personally.

We win and lose together.

We take ownership, share the credit and learn from what doesn’t work.

🪞 One Last Thing

If you’re reading this thinking:

“That sounds like me. And maybe it’s a bit of a stretch.”

Good.

We’re not looking for someone to simply manage an existing playbook.

We’re looking for someone who wants to build the playbook with us.

Embat is scaling quickly. The product is evolving. The market is moving. And there’s a huge opportunity ahead in Spain.

If you want to help shape how the next generation of finance teams move, manage and understand their money, don’t wait.
