Account Executive - SMB

About us

Soundtrack is a B2B scale-up company that originated through a partnership with Spotify, previously powering the ‘Spotify Business’ service, and now provides its own music streaming platform for businesses. We serve small customers like the café around the corner, and much bigger brands like IKEA, Barbour, Espresso House and Hard Rock Cafe..

On the inside, we're a team of talented, motivated, and humble individuals, including our dedicated Sales, Customer Success, and Partner teams, alongside our expert Designers, Engineers, and Music specialists.

The Role

We’re looking for a self-motivated, collaborative and curious Account Executive to join our Sales team in Stockholm.

You’ll focus on handling inbound leads from small businesses that have 1–5 locations, with the goal of converting them into happy paying customers. You’ll be working with a high volume of around 250 leads per month, using email and short 15-minute calls to close deals through a scalable process.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives on structure, velocity, and the satisfaction of closing many wins, all while delivering a great customer experience.

You’ll report directly to our VP Sales.

Responsibilities

• Convert leads to customers efficiently at scale

• Talk to prospects via email or video calls

• Use automation and AI to enable closing at scale

• Tailor the pitch to each lead’s use case — from restaurants to bars and retail stores

• Track your pipeline, forecast monthly MRR, and report on key conversion metrics

• Work collaboratively with the Sales team to continuously improve the process and playbook; your efforts will shape how we scale SMB sales globally

• Work independently while staying closely aligned with the wider Sales team

About You

You take ownership, act with purpose, and thrive on making things happen. You're driven by results and consistently aim to exceed expectations. Motivated by impact and revenue, you bring a strong performance mindset to everything you do, all while maintaining a sharp focus on delivering an exceptional customer experience.

You're goal-oriented and proactive, yet thoughtful and empathetic in your approach. High-volume sales energize you, and you know how to balance speed with precision. You take pride in guiding prospects through the decision-making process with clarity, care, and confidence.

Naturally curious, you ask questions, look for smarter ways to work, and see feedback as an opportunity to grow. You love closing deals, and you're passionate about delivering proven results that move the business forward.

And if you love music like we do, even better!
