About Salesforce
Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.
Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.
There's a 36-month window to define what AI-native enterprise work looks like. Slack sits at the centre of it — and we're growing our commercial team in Australia.
Slack is the System of Engagement for the agentic enterprise: the place where people, AI agents, data, and the tools that run a business come together in a single flow of work. We're not a messaging app — we're the platform where work actually happens, and the demand from Australia's commercial market reflects it.
We're looking for a Specialist Account Executive to join our Slack team. You'll own a portfolio of commercial accounts, evangelising the value of Slack to new prospects and helping existing customers unlock more of the platform.
What you'll do
Own the full sales cycle for your commercial territory, driving Annual Contract Value from prospecting through to close
Act as a strategic advisor — diagnosing business challenges and connecting Slack's platform value to outcomes that matter to each customer
Lead multiple opportunities simultaneously across all stages of the buying cycle
Navigate requirements across billing, legal, security, and technical stakeholders
Be the voice of your customers internally, surfacing market feedback to drive continuous improvement
What you bring
At least 5+ years of Commercial or Enterprise SaaS Sales experience, with proven attainment or over-exceeding of quota
Led consultative sales engagements, developing ROI-backed business cases that secured executive sponsorship and accelerated decision-making.
Partnered cross-functionally with customer success, solution engineering, and partners to maximise customer outcomes and commercial growth.
Executed complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles, balancing strategic account planning with pipeline generation and deal execution.
The ability to translate complex AI and automation concepts into clear business value for both technical and commercial buyers
Strong commercial instincts — you know how to build a business case, manage a fast-moving pipeline, and navigate multiple stakeholders
Credibility built on doing the work: accurate forecasting, disciplined pipeline management, and genuine customer advocacy
Curiosity about AI and where agentic technology is heading — you don't need to be an engineer, but genuine enthusiasm for the space matters
Why Slack, why now
Slack was purpose-built for this moment. As AI reshapes how businesses operate, Slack is where humans and agents work side by side — without switching tools, losing context, or slowing down. You won't be selling a point solution. You'll be helping commercial businesses in Australia build the foundation their AI strategy runs on.
It's a genuinely compelling story to take to market. And it's one that's only getting stronger.
