Account Executive

MetalBear is an innovative, startup revolutionizing how tech companies deploy their code. Backed by leading investors and already trusted by major enterprises, we’re building mirrord — an open-source powered platform that helps developers run local code as if it’s deployed in the cloud, without the friction of full deployments or the risk of disrupting shared environments.

Our exceptional, high-performing team is scaling rapidly, and we’re looking for a driven and ambitious Account Executive to own and expand our presence across North America.

This is a high-impact role at the early stage of our growth — the perfect opportunity for a hungry seller to take ownership, close meaningful deals, and rapidly advance your sales career in a fast-moving startup.

🚀 What You’ll Do

• Own the full sales cycle — from discovery and qualification to negotiation, closing, and post-sale expansion.
• Drive retention & growth — maintain relationships with closed accounts, delivering upsells and renewals.
• Collaborate closely with leadership to refine and scale our sales processes, playbooks, and overall GTM strategy.
• Keep clean, reliable forecasts & notes, leveraging strong task management so nothing slips through the cracks.
• Consistently exceed annual sales targets through focused, high-quality execution.

🌟 Why This Role Is Unique

• High earning potential: Competitive base salary with uncapped commission designed to reward top performers.
• Clear growth path: Opportunity to rapidly advance into senior sales roles as the team scales.
• Shape the future: Influence sales culture, processes, and playbooks from the ground up.
• Autonomy & trust: Ownership culture with no micromanagement.
• Startup velocity: Join a high-performance, ambitious team at a pivotal scaling moment.

Requirements

🔧 What You Bring

• 1–3 years of experience as an Account Executive managing full-cycle sales.
• Proven success meeting or exceeding quotas in a B2B tech environment.
• Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Bonus: Experience in the Kubernetes space or selling developer tools.

💡 Who You Are

• Ambitious & hungry — motivated by career growth, financial success, and hitting big goals.
• Results-driven: You thrive on closing deals and consistently outperforming targets.
• Relationship builder: Able to confidently engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Startup-minded: Thrives in fast-paced, dynamic, and sometimes ambiguous environments.
• Coachable & growth-oriented: Open to feedback and eager for professional development.

📈 What You’ll Get

• Competitive base salary with uncapped commission.
• Significant opportunity to shape sales culture and strategy in a scaling company.
• Fast-track career growth with clear advancement paths.
• Remote-first, high-trust culture — work with a lean, exceptional team that values autonomy and performance.
