Most AI companies are building copilots. We’re building AI accountants that work.
Hyphenate is building the AI operating system for the CFO office. Our Audit-Ready AI Agents connect to a company’s existing finance stack—ERPs, banks, billing, payroll, CRM, contracts, spreadsheets, email, and Slack—and automate the work behind the close, revenue recognition, reporting, cash management, and audit readiness.
The goal isn’t to help accountants write better prompts. The goal is for finance teams to review exceptions while AI does the rest.
What makes Hyphenate different is our Unified Finance Context—a financial understanding layer that captures transactions, policies, contracts, historical decisions, and accounting judgment. On top of it sit Audit-Ready AI Agents that can reason, explain their decisions, escalate uncertainty, and continuously improve.
We’ve raised $9M led by Foundation Capital, alongside BoldCap, Gaia Ventures, Aravind Srinivas (CEO of Perplexity), and finance leaders from Zuora, Ramp, Gusto, MongoDB, Zoom, and the Big Four.
Hyphenate AI is hiring Account Executives / Sales Directors to help us bring modern AI-powered finance and accounting automation to mid-market and enterprise companies.
Our product is built for complex finance workflows: order-to-cash, revenue automation, close automation, cash management, fixed assets, accruals, and other core accounting operations. This is not a generic SaaS sale. The right candidate needs to understand how finance and accounting teams operate, how enterprise software is evaluated, and how to sell into CFO, Controller, Accounting, Finance Operations, and Treasury stakeholders.
We are looking for people who can run sophisticated sales cycles, speak credibly with finance leaders, and help customers understand how AI can transform manual, high-stakes accounting work.

You are intellectually curious about finance and accounting. You do not need to be a CPA, but you should be able to hold your own in a conversation about close processes, revenue recognition, working capital, accruals, reconciliations, or cash forecasting.
You are not just a relationship seller. You are a consultative seller who can diagnose painful workflows, map stakeholders, build urgency, and guide buyers through a high-consideration purchase.
You are excited by the idea of joining early, helping build the sales function, and selling a product that touches some of the most important workflows inside the finance organization.
You have strong opinions about where AI will change the modern finance stack.
Competitive base, commission, and equity package based on experience.
Exceptional teammates with high ownership and direct access to customers, CFOs, controllers, and founders.
Full medical, dental, and vision coverage for employees and dependents, plus 401(k) match.
