Role
We are looking for an Account Executive Majors Germany to join our team. This is a remote (ideally close to Frankfurt) role, reporting to the Regional Sales Director in the GTM Sales Majors Germany department. You will serve as a Trusted Advisor to complex enterprises, positioning Zscaler’s AI-powered Zero Trust Exchange as the foundation for their digital transformation. You will drive high-impact outcomes through sales process excellence (MEDDPICC) and Value Selling, orchestrating the strategic engagements required to cement Zscaler’s position as a global leader in the AI age.
What you’ll do (Role Expectations)
- Manage an assigned territory in Germany focused on net new logo acquisition and upsell opportunities in the largest companies in region
- Build relationships with key stakeholders, including C-Level decision-makers
- Create long-term account strategies aligned with customer goals
- Collaborate with internal teams as ONE TEAM to meet customer needs and contribute to account planning
- Act as a trusted advisor by understanding client businesses and aligning Zscaler solutions with their goals
Who You Are (Success Profile)
- You thrive in ambiguity. You're comfortable building the path as you walk it. You thrive in a dynamic environment, seeing ambiguity not as a hindrance, but as the raw material to build something meaningful.
- You act like an owner. Your passion for the mission fuels your bias for action. You operate with integrity because you genuinely care about the outcome. True ownership involves leveraging dynamic range: the ability to navigate seamlessly between high-level strategy and hands-on execution.
- You are a problem-solver. You love running towards the challenges because you are laser-focused on finding the solution, knowing that solving the hard problems delivers the biggest impact.
- You are a high-trust collaborator. You are ambitious for the team, not just yourself. You embrace our challenge culture by giving and receiving ongoing feedback—knowing that candor delivered with clarity and respect is the truest form of teamwork and the fastest way to earn trust.
- You are a learner. You have a true growth mindset and are obsessed with your own development, actively seeking feedback to become a better partner and a stronger teammate. You love what you do and you do it with purpose.
What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
- Demonstrated curiosity and active exploration of AI tools, with a proven history of integrating new technologies to enhance daily workflows and augment problem-solving
- 5+ years of full-cycle sales experience within the software or security industry
- Progressive selling experience engaging with accounts and selling at the C-Level
- Demonstrated proficiency in using structured sales frameworks specifically MEDDPICC and Value Selling to qualify opportunities, navigate multi-stakeholder environments, and close six-to-seven-figure deals
- Business fluency in German and English
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience leveraging AI-powered sales intelligence, predictive forecasting, or conversational AI platforms to optimize enterprise territory planning and pipeline acceleration
- Deep understanding of the bigger picture, customer goals, and how technology facilitates business outcomes
- Proficiency in strategic sales planning with a proven track record of closing net new logos
