Account Executive

About the Company

Our client is fast-growing health-tech startup transforming how healthcare organizations deliver, manage, and improve care through innovative technology.

We’re building solutions that address some of the biggest challenges facing healthcare today, and we’re looking for an ambitious, consultative Account Executive to help us accelerate growth.

This is an opportunity to join an early-stage company where you’ll have a meaningful impact on revenue, customer experience, and the evolution of our go-to-market strategy.

The Opportunity

As an Account Executive, you will own the sales process from prospecting and discovery through negotiation, close, and handoff to the customer success team.

You’ll work closely with healthcare organizations, executives, clinicians, and operational leaders to understand their challenges and demonstrate how our technology can deliver measurable value.

The ideal candidate is a high-energy, curious, and commercially minded salesperson who enjoys working in a startup environment and can navigate complex healthcare sales cycles.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle from initial qualification through contract execution and close.
• Develop and manage a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities.
• Conduct discovery conversations with healthcare executives, clinicians, administrators, and other key stakeholders.
• Understand customer pain points and translate them into compelling business and clinical value propositions.
• Deliver engaging product demonstrations and presentations to prospective customers.
• Build relationships with multiple stakeholders within target accounts and develop account strategies.
• Manage complex, consultative sales cycles involving clinical, operational, financial, IT, and executive decision-makers.
• Develop proposals, business cases, and commercial agreements.
• Forecast accurately and consistently achieve or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
• Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and Leadership.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date opportunity information in the CRM.
• Provide market and customer feedback to help shape product strategy and go-to-market initiatives.
• Represent [Company Name] at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings.
• Help build and continuously improve our sales processes, messaging, and playbook as the company scales.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably selling SaaS, healthcare technology, or other technology solutions.
• Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
• Experience managing a full sales cycle from prospecting to close.
• Strong consultative and solution-selling skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build credibility and relationships with senior healthcare and business executives.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to articulate ROI and business value.
• Comfortable navigating complex organizations and multi-stakeholder buying processes.
• Highly organized with strong pipeline management and forecasting discipline.
• Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and comfortable operating with ambiguity.
• Strong CRM experience; familiarity with Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms is preferred.
• Genuine interest in healthcare and the role technology can play in improving patient and provider outcomes.

Nice to Have

• Experience selling into hospitals, health systems, physician groups, clinics, payers, or other healthcare organizations.
• Existing relationships within the healthcare ecosystem.
• Experience selling SaaS or technology solutions with $50K+ annual contract values.
• Experience with enterprise or strategic accounts.
• Experience selling into clinical, operational, IT, or C-suite stakeholders.
• Startup or high-growth company experience.
• Understanding of healthcare purchasing processes, privacy requirements, and regulatory considerations.

What You'll Bring

Hunter Mentality: You enjoy creating opportunities rather than waiting for them to appear.

Consultative Approach: You ask great questions, understand the customer's underlying problems, and sell outcomes—not just features.

Executive Presence: You can confidently engage a physician, hospital executive, CIO, CFO, or other senior decision-maker.

Startup Mindset: You’re comfortable wearing multiple hats, moving quickly, testing ideas, and helping build the sales organization as we grow.

Customer Focus: You care about creating genuine value and building long-term customer relationships.

Resilience: You understand that sales involves rejection and setbacks, and you use them to improve.
