7.5t Delivery & Install Driver

Role overview:

7.5t Delivery & Install Driver
Bolton
North West ERDC
Permanent
Full Time

Salary - £33,415.20

Shift Pattern - 5 over 8 days (5 days work and 3 days off)

As the UK’s best-known retailer of tech, we’re proud of the service our customers receive – and it’s all down to our team of 25,000 caring and committed colleagues. So, you’ll never go it alone here. You’ll work in a great team, learning and growing together, and celebrating the big and small moments that make every day amazing.

If you’re looking for a driving role that’s more than just drop and go, we’ve got the perfect opportunity. We’ll train you to install the smart tech you deliver to our customers: washing machines, fridge-freezers, 4K TVs, and more. You’ll soon be out on the road, meeting our customers first-hand and very likely making their day.

Role overview:

As part of this role, you’ll be responsible for:

• Deliver the right products to the right customers, on time
• Install a range of household appliances and tech safely and professionally
• Work as part of a 2‑person team to move and position large items
• Use equipment such as tail lifts, sack barrows and lifting aids to work safely
• Drive a multi‑drop route and keep everything running smoothly
• Create a positive, friendly experience every time you step into a customer’s home

This is a busy, hands‑on role. You’ll typically complete around 25 deliveries a day, with 8–10 of those involving installations in customers’ homes. No two days are the same, and you’ll finish each shift knowing you’ve made a real difference.

Yes, you’ll need to enjoy driving and being on the road, but you’ll need to love helping customers too. Our training will cover everything you need; from installation skills to customer care so you’ll feel confident and supported from day one.

You will need:

• A full Class C1 UK/EA licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• CPC card (and ideally) Tachograph card.
• A passion for delivering great customer service.
• To be comfortable working in a practical, physical role.

We know our people are the secret to our success. That’s why we’re always looking for ways to reward great work. Alongside a competitive pension scheme, you’ll find a host of benefits designed to work for you. They include:

• First-class induction and ongoing learning.
• Quarterly bonus.
• Product discounts across the latest tech.
• A shift pattern of five over eight days.
